Development - Retopology
For the topology of my model, I wanted to do this by hand. Retopology is a very important part of the pipeline for games as this is what will optimise the mesh for both game performance and making it ready for the animators. keeping a focus on poles and loops around areas of the eyes, mouth, nose and face mask are very important to be able to be animated without stretching or deformations on the characters head.
You can see the density of the ZBrush mesh was completly useless and the retopologised mesh on the right clean with appropriate loops.
