Development - Details
After I had achived my final shapes and details of the facial form, I began to add fine details to my character that would give the skin some texture and be seen through the normal map. I used brushes like dots to create pores for the nose, bigger and inverted dots for skin bumps around the body.
With these details, it would give my character some more story and life. it would show his older age as a weathered Viking would not have smooth skin.
